avoiding the speculative trap

i have always wondered by customers ask for speculative design solutions prior to assigning a project. specially when there are better means to evaluate a service provider. such a process is not only futile but may often lead towards a bad judgement. i think its high time one looks towards ‘wow’ in roi rather than some those funky visual forms that fail to relate with your brand.
